Coaching is personalized support that helps you build skills, confidence, and direction in everyday life. Coaching focuses on practical goals like friendships, work, daily living skills, self-advocacy, and independence. Coaching is about moving forward together, not fixing or changing who you are.
We work primarily with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including autism, Down syndrome, and related conditions. We also support clients with ADHD, OCD, anxiety disorders, and depression.
However, we are willing to work with anyone seeking change or wanting to pursue their goals, with or without IDD. You do not need an official diagnosis to work with us. We understand that accessing diagnostic services—especially in adulthood—can be difficult, expensive, and not always accessible.
Coaching can support goals like:
• Getting and keeping a job
• Transportation management
• Budgeting and managing money
• Cooking and grocery shopping
• Improving social and communication skills
• Building confidence
• Learning self-advocacy skills
• Time management and organization
• Navigating relationships and boundaries
Every coaching plan is personalized to the individual.
Sessions are conversational, supportive, and practical. We may talk through challenges, practice real-life situations (like going grocery shopping together), build step-by-step plans, or work hands-on toward a goal. Sessions are paced to fit the client’s needs and learning style.
No. Life coaching is not therapy, counseling, or ABA. Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions using evidence-based practices. Coaching focuses on skill-building, confidence, and everyday life goals in the present and future.

Most clients meet weekly or biweekly, but frequency is flexible and based on individual needs and goals.
This depends on the client’s preference, needs, and guardianship. We will decide together what the right support looks like for you.
